ALNMOUTH BAY
There are quite a few small beaches around this old fishing town at Alnmouth Bay but the strong currents from the river make the area a very difficult place to sail. The lack of preferable conditions for any particular type of sailing means that this location is really only suitable for recreational sailors. Also, the close proximity of the town to the seafront means that very little wind reaches the sailing area. Not a great location for serious sailors.
