ANDERBY CREEK
One of a number of ENE facing beaches along this coast, Anderby Creek has the advantage of a small café and shop next to the car park, which is next to the gap in the sand dunes, allowing access to the water. Low tide means a long walk but it’s a quiet uncrowded beach suitable for all abilities. There is a rip current at certain states of the tide along this coast that beginners should be aware of, but provided the wind is an onshore element even they will make landing somewhere safely. The remains of a concrete pill box are scattered at the head of the beach. Further N Moggs Eye and Cob Hill next to the Sutton on Sea golf course has parking areas next to the beach.
