BLACKPOOL SANDS
Although part of the same bay as Slapton. Blackpool Sands is a sandy cove with rhododendrons which bloom in summer. SW winds are a bit gusty by the beach but fine once you’re out in the bay. The wind direction here is wide and it can be sailed in every direction from E to SW. There’s a shore break here when the swells are running.
