CHAPEL SIX MARSHES – WOLLA BANK
Chapel Six Marshes – Wolla Bank. Two long, sandy beaches within sight of each other with the same conditions as Skegness, but without the parking and access difficulties. At low tide there can be quite a walk to the water but the lack of obstacles means this location is suitable for beginners in weaker winds. In stronger winds sailing from this beach would be more suited to intermediate sailors as the rip tide can create a problem for beginners. There are groynes at the upper end of the beach, which are only covered during spring high water.
