DRURIDGE BAY
From this long sandy beach over five miles long, you can sail in different conditions depending on the season. In summer the water is mainly flat and perfect for speed sailing whereas in the winter, the waves pick up and the beach is more suitable for wave sailors. Parking in the car park at Druridge Bay means a walk across the sand dunes with your kit, but the quality of the beach and the sailing makes it all worthwhile
