AVAILABLE ON

ST. JOHN’S LAKE

St. Johns Lake is a little way up the River Tamar from Plymouth Sound, directly opposite Plymouth and close to the car ferry terminal. A very good area for first time short boarders and can be sailed in SW and NE winds. At low tide it tends to dry out so can only be sailed at mid to high tide.

Great place to windsurf, especially at low tide in SW winds, dead flat water, great for speed sailing along the edge of the sand/mud bank. with high tide you have huge area to sail.
