ST MARY’S WELL BAY
Being a very tidal beach with rough conditions at times, St Mary’s Well Bay is definitely not a beginner location! Many people have attempted to sail out to Sully Island from here and had to be rescued due to bad seas. The water is mainly flat and should provide good slalom sailing in E – NE winds but there is also a fairly strong rip tide so be careful. If you do decide to sail here, never sail alone.
