This beach is located directly to the W of Cold Knap and makes the most out of NE winds. Watchtower Bay is best sailed on an incoming tide because the water tends to be flatter just inside the bay. In these conditions this location is excellent for speed sailing and full power jibes. However, the winds tend to be offshore and are not really suitable for less experienced sailors.
