Discover the fascination of the windsurfer’s world in Rhodes! On the west coast of Rhodes, the second largest Greek island, lies the beautiful Palm Beach Hotel and its 3 Windsurfing Centers situated in the popular Ialyssos area – perfect for windsurfers and non-windsurfers alike. On the island, you’ll find all the comfort, culture, night life and facilities you can desire.

Riding on offer
Rhodes is situated in the south west of Greece. The island coast not only enjoys the well-known Meltemi breeze, but the bay of Ialyssos also benefits from a local thermal wind amplified by a venturi effect between the island, Turkey and the slopes of Mount Smith. The wind range during the main season is consistently between 16 and 25 knots. The third center is situated in Windmill Bay which has a 200m area close to the shore sheltered from the breeze that is perfect for beginners.

The large bay of Ialyssos offers many attractions and has a long promenade packed with shops, restaurants, cocktail bars and night clubs for everyone to enjoy their stay. Directly on the spot you can choose between the Blue Horizon Hotel, Sun Beach Resort, and many other accommodation options.

Getting There
Rhodes international airport is situated 10 minutes from the spot and has flights direct to and from most European cities.

Equipment and Tuition
The 3 centres are always equipped with current year models. Take your choice of 350 boards from F2, Fanatic and JPAustralia accompanied with North and NeilPryde sails, all rigged with 75% Carbon masts.

Flat Day Fun
Visit the beautiful old town of Rhodes, people watch and shop on Ialyssos’ long promenade, take a splash at the water-park or any one of the amazing beaches around the island.
