TRANSITION SESSIONS WINDSURFING
Transition Sessions Windsurfing, a brand new windsurfing school in Cornwall, is opening it’s doors and hoping to get keen sailors out on the water and take their sailing to the next level, all in the stunning locations that Cornwall has to offer.
From Daymer Bay, Gwithian and The Bluff on the North coast, to Marazion, Praa Sands and Par on the South coast, their sessions aim to give you the lowdown on the best spots and get your windsurfing up to speed.
Based in Hayle, a stones throw from Gwithian and some of the other windsurf hotspots, their emphasis is on learning in a fun environment, whilst ensuring your safety, all that and a big dose of enthusiasm!
Brett Lee, co-founder of Transition Sessions Windsurfing: “We’ll cover everything you need to know and provide you with the tools to get you out and about in a variety of conditions.
“Our focus is on core sailing skills which will transfer to, and improve, every area of your windsurfing. Skills training is only half the story however, we’ll also nurture the confidence and knowledge to be able to sail in a wider variety of locations and in different conditions.
“Cornwall is sometimes wrongly considered as a difficult place to sail, we want to dispel that myth and show people how awesome the county really is!”

“Fortunately it isn’t always as extreme here, and that’s what makes it such an amazing learning environment.”
Transitions Sessions offer a range of courses from 2 hour clinics up to full days and even weeks, all of which are ‘own kit tuition’ for the moment.
There’s also 1:1 tuition as well as private group sessions, so whether you flying solo or have a bunch of friends you’d like to go with, then why not drop them a line?
