Amidst that clamour, Josh picked off a bomb from way out the back, and we watched the undisputed master of Cabo Verde take a line so pure, so classically Josh, that there was not a word spoken amidst the people watching. Double mast high at the peak, he played hide and seek, laying the most stylish bottom turns into several aggressive hacks. We were stunned. That was an upper section set, so it did not quite make it to the beach, but the ride was as long as any that did connect since he caught it way above the tree section. We all knew we had witnessed and been a part of history that day. A very memorable moment for me personally aside from any of the rides was Josh, who has moved full time to Boston and was certainly very grateful to be present, sailing up to me outside and proclaiming loudly, “BRO I NEEDED THAT!”
After the session, JB, Josh and I were pumped. All the images you see here are only a small fraction of the memories that every one of us out there at Ali Baba that day will carry on for the rest of our lives. Until the next time, my friends;”
