I was almost sad by the time we decided to call it quits and head back down the coast. As I sailed back, close to the mountain-like cliffs, I had a real feeling of accomplishment, knowing I’d done something a little bit special and I hadn’t needed to travel half way around the world to do it. I had seen one of the most impressive and isolated views that only a very few sailors had got the chance to experience so up close and personal.
Fatima soon felt much better after landing on the solid ground and my stoked feeling also faded away, but some of the views of the landscape I’m sure I’ll keep with me a very long time”
