After three hours of awesome sailing the wind started to drop and the tide was up against the cliffs, time to throw in the towel at Gwithian. The late afternoon was the best quality sailing of the day, with Blacky, Timo and Thorpy trading waves until the tide dictated it was time to leave the water. But there was still an hour of sunlight and, hungry for more pictures, I made the call that we should head to Upton where we could score another thirty minutes on the water.
