A BOTTLE OF SUDS AFTER A GOOD DAY’S WORK
Being the first day of the northerly pattern the swell was gradually building throughout the day with the wind cross onshore but still with a decent angle for frontside and back side hacks.
A quick check at Daymer Bay on the way down to Hayle après session confirmed we’d been in the right place with a couple of guys out scrabbling around in flat water and gusty winds – a perfect start!
No day on the water on a roadie is complete without a couple of ales to wash away all that salt water so we retired to the Bucket of Blood to quench our thirsts.
