BACKYARDS

After a great start to the Hawaiian winter the islands were hit by an armada of onshore, north winds, which are traditionally accompanied by bad weather and rain. The one good thing from this weather pattern is that it’s the perfect wind direction for sailing the bone-crunching break known as ’Backyards’, located on the infamous ‘7-mile wonder’ that is Oahu’s North Shore.
