CONDITIONS
On an average day the waves at Moulay are very accessible from a sandy beach launch. A few tacks upwind will get you into the thick of it for some down the line wave sailing. The wind is normally side shore and blows strong for most of the year. The best wave season is in spring and autumn; the strongest wind is in the summer. The wind is lighter in the morning and great for surfing. International contests take place here with top sailors often seen training including local legend Boujmaa Guilloul. Being an Atlantic destination the water is coldish, most will wear full 3/2 wetsuits, some even more. Air temperature is from mid 20’s up to mid 30’s.
