Musso’s first big step forward came after clinching the prestigious Aloha Classic title in 2005 followed by scoring the runners-up position at the 2006 London Indoor Jump comp. But arguably Alex really proved his status and quality at the epic, inaugural PWA event in Cape Verde back in 2007, where he launched into some of the biggest aerials ever seen on tour, high above the grinding barrels at Punta Preta. In his words ‘This event changed windsurfing as we know it’ and from then onwards the level of extreme wave riding has moved to even more radical, dizzy heights.
