JC: How many languages do you speak and can you list them?
BD: Well I speak Danish, Norwegian, German,Spanish, English, French and some Swedish!
JC: Have you ever thought about buying a Porsche or a flash car and why not?
BD: No, not really I have too many boards, sails, SUP, surf boards and Mountain bikes to transport so I always prefer a decent van.
JC: What is the motto you live by?
BD: Enjoy, respect, motivate, waste no time, hurt no one, spend as much time on your board as possible and spend time with family and close friends!
JC: Three words to describe yourself?
BD: Pushing the limits!
JC: What is your most visited web site?
BD: Wind-guru, redbull.com, gopro.com.
JC: If you could have dinner with one person, who would it be?
BD: My wife!
JC: What types of food would we find in your fridge at home?
BD: Juice, cheese, yogurt, eggs, milk with no lactose, fish, chicken, water and veggies!
JC: What do you consider about your personality your best and worst quality?
BD: I am very active but also very impatient!
JC: If you were on an island and could only bring 3 things, what would you bring?
BD: A windsurf board, SUP and a Swiss army knife!
JC: What was the last gift you gave someone?
BD: Flowers to my wife Maria!
JC: What do you worry about, and why?
BD: My kids getting in trouble or hurting themselves. Personally, staying fit and healthy!
JC: Who has inspired you in your life and why?
BD: Many people but no one concrete as a standout, I guess my father and mother for sure!
JC: Would you rather be liked or respected?
BD: Respected!
JC: What was the favourite board you ever rode?
BD: It depends on the discipline; speed was a 42 cm Starboard speed Special; wave, I’d say the Kode 82 and a Proof for down the line and Slalom lately the 107 Starboard Isonic and some of the smaller ones too.
JC: What makes you angry?
BD: Lies, unfair play, cheaters, cold and wet, light gusty wind and badly set courses!
JC: What’s the biggest mistake you made in your life and what did you learn from it?
BD: There has been a few, don’t make the same mistakes again!
