‘’First thing with Jaws is just getting there, I own a ski with my good friend Fernando Canuso and Levi came up with us too. It’s always tricky getting up there with 3 people on a ski, with a sled with 3 boards, 1 kite and 2 rigs facing open ocean with 25 mph winds straight on our heads. Probably took us 25 to 30 mins just to get there. After that, we all helped each other to get rigged, first the 3 of us got together to rig up Fernando’s Kite, than Levi and I helped each other with our rigs, our system worked out pretty good in the end. After all the hard part was done we went and got a couple of waves each. I was out on my 5.3 Banzai and a custom jaws board, 8’0’’, 56cm wide quad with 15cm back and 9 cm front . It’s been over 2 years since my last session there and I got one or 2 good ones, now I can’t wait for the next big swell and another day there.’’
