Situated at the bottom of the continent and on one of the southern-most points on the mainland, Phillip Island has popped back onto the radar as one of the premiere wave sailing locations in Australia. It gets battered by the mighty southern swells that march up from Antarctica and through the Bass Straight so there are options a-plenty, it just depends on the wind.
