MAZZA HAZARDS
The closer you get to the Mount, the more rocks there are but there is nothing major in front of the main sailing area. Try to check the shoreline at low tide to get an idea of the layout. On a big swell the shore dump at high water can be pretty brutal. Be careful if you rig in the car park when carrying it back and forth from the beach that you don’t impale it on a post. The beach to the west of the Longrock car park is an all year round “dog-friendly” beach. Watch out as we heard some owners don’t clear up after their dogs!
