If you decide to come to Lake Garda you should check the forecast before you leave as if the forecast is for Ora wind you should bring big sails and boards, if the forecast is good for Peler wind you should bring some small sails as well.

If you are looking for a place to hire gear, Torbole is the spot. Torbole is a city located in the north of the lake, it’s probably the most famous place to
windsurf in the lake. There are many schools in Torbole and in all of them you can easily hire gear; popular hire centres are Segnana, Europa Holidays, Vasco Renna and Shaka for example.
STANDARD OF RIDERS REQUIRED
Garda lake is a place where everybody can go. The Peler is a strong wind blowing from 10-11 in the morning. Experts can windsurf in the early morning. At lunchtime the wind is very light, and this is the best time for a beginner.
Normally windsurfing schools organize group lessons during this time. In the afternoon the Ora wind starts blowing again.
