When the wind had quit blowing, the swell was still there and we had some of the most fun surf either of us has ever witnessed at Punta Preta, which truly blessed our week. 7 hours of surfing in one day, with both of us hounding one another to go in and neither of us able to do so. Three different waves, three different riders, one common goal. It’s moments like these that we live for. It’s the truth of our existence. Trust in oneself, one another, the divine forces of God and the powers of the crucial elements to find the understanding that these moments happen for a reason. I know for sure we’ll constantly try to learn from our previous experiences to trust our instincts and push ahead into the future and the unknown. Multiple islands form the whole chain, there are many more spots to, respectfully, explore in Cabo Verde, more challenges to undertake, different swell directions to look for and an endless horizon of potential to share the experiences our lives have in store for us. Even after all these years, it’s only just the beginning.
