Polzeath is one of the few beaches in the UK that Timo has never sailed but it was his call to spin the wheel and head to here for the early morning session. I am always happy to try somewhere new but juggling between the likes of Constantine, Sennen, Woolacombe, Godrevey and Polzeath made it a tough decision to pick a location. We had one factor that kind of swayed the call, and that was a work meeting back in Poole at 2pm where Timo had to be unless he wanted to be joining the dole queue for Xmas! Polzeath made sense in terms of logistics, but our eggs were loaded into one basket and if we did not strike morning gold here, then potentially we would have blown all our options!
