LIFE-CHANGING
Cabo Verde has provided all of these experiences over the 16 years that I’ve travelled there to seek the perfect wave and attempt to re-define what that term actually means. After my first sessions at Punta Preta in January 1996, it was an honour to share the news of a relatively newfound territory when I arrived back on Maui. Many since then have followed. One of my close friends, Josh Angulo, moved there, started a family, became a national hero, and completely reversed his fortunes.
