Highlights of 2014?
It was a season full of highlights. I think the important moment was when I made the final in Tenerife. I made second and in the double elimination I beat Koester in the first final.
Just to know I can beat him is a big step. For me this was a huge improvement from all the years I have been on tour. Finally I found my zone and I could do my thing. This helped trigger great performances in the Poland indoor and Denmark. Everything just went my way this season, yes the stars definitely lined up! I kind of got used to being on the podium. I don’t know how I will take it the next time I get knocked out early in a competition. For sure it will happen eventually! Right now I make the most of my moment at the top. I don’t want to think about going down (laughs). It is a shame for me that we start the year in Pozo. That is my worst place to compete for my style, the same for Alex and every year we are shaking before Pozo. It resets the whole ranking. It makes the season tough, it is not unfair but its an uphill battle from there.
