The coastline of South & West Wales has miles of wave catching reef and beach breaks but some of my favourite sessions can be had when the wind & swell forecast lines up just right to light up the Mid Wales coast! I love the wild mountainous scenery across the whole of Wales, it’s an amazing place to explore and even more special to call it home! Having travelled the world and lived in some great places for wave sailing, I can honestly say that I love all the stunning beaches and reef breaks that we have here. One of the best things about it really is the complete lack of crowds, I can often find a windsurfing spot firing and share it with just a few of the regular local crew and the occasional visitor like Coxy! Over the years I’ve enjoyed exploring some of the more remote and uncharted spots to get the forecast for them dialled and searching for that elusive perfect wave! Waveriding is really my thing and we have certainly found plenty of solid point break action with cross-off riding and good surf to back it up. If you like consistent surf, friendly or no crowds and down the line wave riding then Wales is often the place to be!”
