Sure enough Magheroarty delivered the goods. This time we were treated to the remaining hours of daylight on the reef with peeling waves and wally sections allowing gouging turns, Wave 360s and high flying Goiters. Jamie was in heaven, clocking up wave-after-wave as the sets rolled in on the outgoing tide. This time round we had three sailors sharing these perfect waves and they all sailed until the sun finally faded behind the hills and spoiled the party. Back at the van though, reality sunk in. We had a ferry booked from Belfast in five hours time. Rather than relax with a rewarding pint of Guinness at the end of a great day we were headed back on the road for the next stage of our Four Nations Victory lap.
