“To say I was feeling tired at the end of the days sailing was a massive understatement. By this point it’d been twenty for hours from meeting up with JC and Timo at the Mullen HQ, fuelled by energy drinks and only three hours sleep. I think if I’d retired to the pub and had a bed ready made for the night right then and there, I would have deemed the whole trip as a success. I already had two great sessions at two completely new amazing locations under my belt. But no, the next twenty four hours potentially entailed even more hours driving than the previous day, and a further two ferry journeys! Sat in the van at Magheroaty I was nervous, excited and totally exhausted at the same time.
