“ Windsurfing is an eternal quest for something which will never last: wind is like happiness in a way ” Thomas Traversa
Thomas Traversa
“Windsurfing is my job, it allows me to rent a place, pay the bills and feed my daughter. But before being a job, windsurfing is what I do best, it is a reason to wake up every day and enjoy where I am and what I do. Windsurfing makes me feel alive, like a lion chasing an antelope, I live the moment, my body and mind work together in perfect harmony. I don’t think about the past or the future, I don’t care about the rest of the world, I am where I am, like an animal. Windsurfing taught me that life is a series of ups and downs, windy days and lay days. Lay days are for family and friends, windy days are mine. Windsurfing is an eternal quest for something which will never last: wind is like happiness in a way.”
