“Windsurfing is my life! When I was younger I did not have a plan for my future, I was just making the most of what I had everyday until I ended up windsurfing, and since then it has become more than a passion but my life. I did not see it coming till I realized my life was all about windsurfing every day, all day. I even look forward to the next session while enjoying a sick session! I can never picture my life if I wasn’t windsurfing. What would it be? I am just blessed to be where I am right now because of this sport. I feel very unique, in fact, I am; I don’t know many Moroccan people living from such passion. I have learned everything about life through windsurfing, from history through to geography, languages, medicine, body anatomy and understanding people and populations, religions, cultural shocks, climate change and pollution. Throughout my windsurfing journey I have met amazing people that have been the key to my personality right now, from my friends back home to my friends in Australia, Tahiti or Hawaii; they basically have all been part of my education and my way of thinking and I am profoundly thankful to them. If I die, there is nothing I would change in my life; it has been the closest to perfection a life can be, I am very thankful and blessed. Windsurfing has been the essence of my life, and I wish it to be that way forever.”
