John Carter – “Just outside Geraldton in Western Australia, we had pulled over by one of the town’s trademark windswept leaning trees to take an obligatory photo. As I was climbing back over the barbed wire fence on the way back to the van I managed to step into a nest containing thousands of giant ants. Within seconds I was being savaged by these critters with hundreds biting my legs. Of course SQ was in stitches at seeing me in such a flurry trying to swat them away! After I finally managed to fend off the killer ants it was now my turn to drive for our final journey back to Perth! It was a bad start and from there everything went downhill rapidly!”
JC: Ok SQ I warn you people don’t seem to like it when I am behind the wheel!
SQ: You can’t be that bad can you?
JC: Well let’s just say I warned you! Now which side of the road am I aiming for?
SQ: Oh God it’s the same as England I think!
JC: I nearly crashed a few years ago in Lancelin driving up the highway on the wrong side of the road!
SQ: Maybe I should drive!
