As for the conditions, it was pumping. If anything the swell was too big a lot of the time and, as always up there, the wind was pretty light. Despite the position of Lewis, the wind, similarly to NW Ireland, tends to be all-or-nothing, so more than often you will be on your biggest kit most of the time. This trip was no exception and with the huge swell there were also a few kit sacrifices by Ross and Jack.
