JAMIE HANCOCK
Last tie I visited Lewis we left it late and I even had to change out of my wetsuit in the ferry car park. The wind never came through for the spot we went to sail until literally 30 minutes before we HAD to leave for the ferry. I only managed to catch 3 waves in total, enough for JC to get a few snaps and for me to have the need to desperately come back on the next possible forecast.
So, after a winter away, April produced what basically looked like the perfect forecast – 10-20 ft with 4 days of howling wind in the perfect direction. The problem was Timo, who I usually travel with on such trips, was on his flight to Maui. It was impossible for him to come. So I called Ross Williams and Jack Hunt, neither of who been there before to see if they were keen.
