“Windsurfing is my life; it has shaped pretty much all aspects of my life today. I started windsurfing when I was 4 years old on my Disney windsurf board that my Dad sold in his windsurfing shop in Northern Ireland, since that day windsurfing has been a massive learning curve that does not seem to ever end. There is no end to the game; the finish line is always just out of your grasp; that is what makes windsurfing so addictive I guess. Windsurfing has helped me choose a career path that has allowed me to work and windsurf in perfect harmony. Windsurfing introduced me to all my friends around the world, who in turn introduced me to my wife (cheers Rich Page, PWA) and gave me my two beautiful children.
Windsurfing helped me to break down divides; growing up Northern Ireland it gave me the opportunity to meet people outside the divisions at the time in my country, just for that I am most truly grateful to windsurfing as it taught me that through a passion for windsurfing we are all equal! Windsurfing is my Alpha and Omega but most of all windsurfing makes me happy”
