A Strong Start to Summer 2026

Summer is well and truly underway out at Club Vass, and what a start it’s been. With epic conditions, a phenomenal team and the biggest investment in brand-new kit in nearly four decades, there’s a brilliant vibe at Club Vass this season. It’s shaping up to be one to remember – here’s a look at what’s been happening…

The Club Vass Crew

A huge shout-out goes out to the incredible Top Team at Club Vass. With endless enthusiasm, professionalism and ever-ready smiles, this outstanding crew makes the magic happen every day, both on and off the water. From running the smoothest beach operation in the bay to serving top-notch food in the restaurant and keeping the beach bar at the centre of Vassiliki life, they are the heart and soul of the centre. It’s their energy, dedication and drive that keeps everything flowing – and makes a holiday here so memorable.

Fly Club Class – WingFoil Centre

With world-class coaching, the latest Duotone kit and the legendary conditions of Vassiliki Bay, this is one of Europe’s finest wing foiling experiences – whether guests are taking their first flights or pushing advanced freestyle moves. The dedicated Flight Squad for 2026 includes Pro Coach Toby Cunliffe and Caitlin Boothroyd, alongside sisters Rachel and Phoebe Pyke and other highly skilled members of the coaching team. Not only are they exceptional riders, but they’re also passionate instructors who know how to unlock fast progression via the club’s Beginner & Intermediate Clinics or private coaching. This summer the Club Vass Wing Foil Centre features a full fleet of brand-new Duotone boards, foils and wings, giving access to the very latest gear throughout the holiday. A few clinic spaces remain in August and September – if you really want to take off, it’s time to grab one…

Family Holidays, Vass Style

Few family holidays compare – this is what summer dreams and the best childhood memories are made of. Whether kids are getting on board for the first time or developing their windsurfing skills, the dedicated CV kids’ instructors help build confidence, independence and lifelong ability on the water. From Kids Club (younger children) to ProKids (older children), kids can windsurf as much or as little as they like, with plenty of off-water activities including games, arts & crafts and water park trips. They’ll make huge strides, lifelong friends and soon forget about their screens! Spaces are filling fast, so if you’re planning a family adventure, now is the time to book.

Get Qualified with Watersports Nomad

Dreaming of turning a passion into a qualification? Club Vass associates Watersports Nomad are running their renowned Windsurf Instructor Courses at Club Vass, with upcoming courses starting 5th July and 9th August. Train in the legendary winds of Vassiliki, gain internationally recognised RYA qualifications, enjoy unlimited access to kit and coaching, and join a global community of like-minded windsurfers. Whether it’s a gap year, career break or life-changing experience, this could be the start of something special.

Girls on Board

The first women’s clinic of the season delivered exactly what Diva Week is all about – encouragement, camaraderie and progression at every level. Big breakthroughs across the group saw guests landing gybes, mastering stronger wind conditions, building confidence in the harness and footstraps, and achieving personal goals. Off the water, a packed programme included mountain biking, yoga, group breakfasts and suppers. The legendary BBQ rounded off the week, complete with the infamous Plate Dance and dancing at the beach bar. Missed out? There’s still some availability on the next ladies’ clinic, starting 13th September – an unforgettable week of skill building, friendship and fun.

Team Focus: Rachel Pyke

Coach Rachel is now in her second season at Club Vass and one of the standout female talents on the tuition team. Equally accomplished in windsurfing and wing foiling, she is an exceptional rider and an inspiring coach. Last winter in Bonaire saw her refine her freestyle skills, add Vulcans to her repertoire and take her winging to the next level. Passionate about guest progression, she combines world-class coaching with the insight of a qualified physiotherapist, adding depth to her understanding of technique, movement and performance. Rachel also uses her physio background to support post-session recovery through Sports Massage in the club’s massage suite.
