THE LOW DOWN:

Porto Pollo has two beautiful white sand beaches, one for windsurfing and one for kitesurfing. The Windsurf Village and MB-Pro Center are located on the far end of the windsurfing beach.

CONDITIONS AND WHEN TO GO:

The best conditions are from Easter until the end of October. The spring brings the Tramontana from the North East at force 6-8. In the summer the Ponente is from the South West bringing force 4-7. Autumn sees the Scirocco from North Africa with force 5-6 and occasionally force 8.

LOCAL SPOT:

From flat water to bump and jump, you will be well catered for at this spot. In the morning there are always flat conditions and the warm, clear turquoise water can reach 27 degrees in the summer making it perfect for beginners. In the afternoon a stronger wind prevails and presents exciting conditions for improvers.
