MARSKE SANDS REDCAR
In cross offshore SW winds Marske Sands Redcar is a very good flat water sailing area. In NE winds it produces a very good wave. A gently shelving beach it has no vice like rip tides or shore dumps, but also no facilities apart from toilets. Best in SW, it’s a popular venue and provided the wind is blowing there’s always a scattering of windsurfers sailing from here.
