It’s with salty hairs and sandy eyes that I write you from the island of Fuerteventura after an awesome racing week with epic conditions for the 3rd stop of the PWA World Tour! New podium in the pocket after 10 races in super strong wind…

After a poor beginning of the season in terms of conditions; we finally get an incredible windy week here in Fuerteventura with more or less 40 kts almost every day with good gusts up to 50+. The spot of Sotavento was super hard to sail looking more like a FMX motocross spot as a windsurf normal slalom run… But this event was incredible and I really enjoyed it as it was a big battle between all riders and sometimes against me to stay on the board and control it! I made some mistakes but I am pretty stoked about this solid result. I was able to be back when I was in bad position and always there to fight for some crucial points…

Super happy to finish on the podium of this well-known event (Fuerteventura 28th edition)! I am still leading the annual World Tour ranking at the mid-season. The way is still long with 3/4 events to go. I will continue to train, sail and push to keep this top place! I will be ready in a month for the next stop in Denmark…
