Simon Pettifer looks back on his last-minute mission to the South of France to compete at the Prince of Speed. What should have been a straightforward road trip quickly descended into chaos, with broken teeth, van breakdowns and cancelled ferries threatening to derail the adventure before it had even begun. Somehow they battled through every obstacle and made it to the event just in time to score an epic speed session. And when they finally hit the course… wow, was it worth the effort!
