ABERAERON
Described as a “minefield of rocks” by some of the locals, you can imagine that Aberaeron is an easy place to loose a fin. The steeply shelving shingle beach means that waves can pick up and the sea is usually choppy. In onshore conditions the shore dump can be quite powerful so sailors need to be competent in launch and returning quickly so that no kit is damaged.
