ARBROATH
An excellent spot for SW winds, Arbroath has plenty of parking close to the beach and a large grassy area for rigging. The beach is about two miles long so there’s plenty of room for everyone and the launch point is in the N close to the town. The local delicacy is a ‘smokie’ – no, not what you think – these are locally caught haddock which are then smoked over a hardwood chip fire – superb, and worth the journey when it’s blowing SW.
