This sandy beach is located in Duddon Sands and offers flat water sailing conditions for any level of sailor. The best conditions at Askam in Furness are strong N winds but any wind direction other than E will work. However, it is only possible to sail for 2 to 3 hours either side of high tide, so check the tides before you travel.
