The windsurfing beach is located just to the W of the pleasure beach at Blackpool and offers better wave sailing conditions that Lytham St Anne’s. The best conditions here are S and SW winds though it will work in any wind direction except E. Sailing is possible at most times, but avoid very high tides as they can be dangerous if you don’t know the beach.
