The Bognor Yacht Club is the main launch point. It offers all the facilities of a modern club like showers, toilets, bar and food. The pebble beach works best in a SW although it can be sailed in S, E and SE. In common with many beaches in this area strong winds and high tides result in a shore dump but at Bognor Regis Beach the effect is smaller because of a reef of rocks that protects the beach. Launching is not easy with a high tide/strong wind combination.
