Just below Scarborough, Cayton Bay is mainly a surfing beach so waves are a common occurrence, especially in N winds. As the beach is small, finding a place to rig can be difficult when it’s crowded.


Getting there: Take the A165 S from Scarborough, follow the signs to the beach when you reach Cayton
