At high tide there is a sandy beach and launching becomes fairly easy. The conditions are Dovercourt usually very good and the area is great for beginners and experienced sailors alike. However, if the conditions are very windy or during low tide the quality of sailing is reduced and the beach becomes muddy making launching more difficult. The sailing further is still likely to be good though.
