EAST RUNTON
East Runton is really only recommended for experienced wave sailors as sailing here is fairly tricky in any conditions. The beach is very steep so it’s best to sail here at low tide with NW winds because at low tide the sandbar reef is closer to the surface and bigger waves are created. This location offers some of the best wave sailing in the country and if the conditions are right (low tide and NW winds), then this spot is recommended. However, this location is definitely not for beginners as the tides change very quickly and getting caught against the rocks during high tide can be painful!
