FRASERBURGH
North of Aberdeen on the A92 and known locally as the Broch, Fraserburgh was for some time home to a round of the Scottish wavesailing championships. The beach faces NW through North to West. A moving sand bar can provide some classic waves, staying clean even at low tide. Certainly not a locals only place, you will find a friendly local population inhabiting a town with a fairly busy weekend nightlife.
