FRINTON-ON-SEA
Once again on the same stretch of coast as Clacton, Frinton-on-Sea offers slightly more demanding conditions. At high tide the water comes up to the sea wall so launching can be difficult, unless you know the area. The NE winds can create choppier conditions than at Clacton and Holland and many sailors have got into difficulty by sailing offshore and been unable to get back. Visitors to the area are advised to ask locals about the conditions.
